Enable a Plug-in CASK FAQ

What is the matter?
Certain functionality on a web page requires a plug-in that is installed, but disabled. You want to enable the plug-in.

What should I do?
  1. In Internet Explorer click: Tools > Manage add-ons. A new window named 'Manage Add-ons' will open.

The window 'Manage Add-ons' will open.

  2. In the window 'Manage Add-ons' select 'Add-ons that have been used by Internet Explorer'.

The default setting 'Add-ons currently loaded in Internet Explorer' does not show all available add-ons.

  3. Select the plug-in you want to enable, e.g. Shockwave Flash, Java Plug-in, etc.

If more versions of the plug-in are available, choose the appropriate version.

  4. Click 'Enable'. A confirm message appears.

  5. In the confirm message, click 'OK'.

  6. In the window 'Manage Add-ons', click 'OK'.

  7. Check if it solved the problem.

Again try to run the web site. If necessary refresh the page or additionally shut down and restart the browser (=e.g. Internet Explorer). If the problem is not yet solved, return to the page you came from, or to the CASK FAQ main page and check other problem causes.
