cardiac plexus: preaortic
pulmonary plexus: around hilus of lungs
esophageal plexus: around esophagus
celiac and superior mesenteric ganglion: below diaphragm
below the level of the heart the vagal nerve becomes a plexus and ceases to exist as a nerve
